Reverend Dr. Michael Elliott, Pastor

Mike is a native of the New York City/Long Island area, lived in Pittsburgh, PA for twenty years and was a resident of Albuquerque, NM for sixteen years. He is a second career pastor who worked as a research chemist for several years before entering the ministry. Mike received his Masters of Divinity degree from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and was ordained by Redstone Presbytery in 1998. He received his B.S. in Biochemistry from Manhattan College, New York; went on to receive a M.S. in Chemistry at Carnegie Mellon University and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh. Mike has served congregations in Western Pennsylvania and New Mexico. Most recently, he was the Associate Pastor for Administration at the First Presbyterian Church of Albuquerque.
Mike has been married since 1987 to his wife, Sharon. Sharon teaches chemistry at Central High School in Omaha. Their daughter, Kathleen works as an Epidemiologist for the state of Maryland.
Mike is an avid reader, crossword puzzle aficionado, SyFy Channel movie junkie, enjoys cooking, yardwork and puttering around the house with Mo, the family cat.
