Alzheimer’s and other Types of Dementia Care Partners Support
Thursday, September 9th 6:30 p.m.
First Presbyterian Church
1220 Bellevue Blvd S.
Come join us, all are welcome!
Over 35,000 people in Nebraska are living with Alzheimer’s or dementia, and more than 61,000 people care for loved ones with the disease.
Caring for a person with Alzheimer’s or dementia often involves a team of people. The role of a care partner is not limited to spouses, partners or close family members. Care partners may include “families of choice” such as friends, neighbors or long-distance relatives.
Whether you provide daily caregiving, participate in decision making, or simply care about a person with the disease, this session is for you. Come hear about support from these resources. No one needs to face this disease alone.
