Pastor Mike and Linda Reffert will be leading a Bible Study in August on the Book of Ruth.  The class will meet in the Valley Vista Room at 1pm on Tuesday, August 1, 8, 15 and 22.
The story of Ruth, a foreigner in Israel, who becomes part of the lineage of Jesus, is a beautiful story of integrity, faithfulness and righteousness.  Ruth pledges to stand by her mother-in-law Naomi with these famous words  “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.  Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me.”
